Cynthia McKinney for POTUS!!!

Dear friends,

Back in 2008, when I was considering who I would vote for to be the president, my youngest daughter, Tia, an M.D./PhD candidate in a major medical school, had already decided that she was supporting Cynthia McKinney. I now feel very stupid, as I wound up like so many other African-American progressives giving Barack Obama his undeserved shot at the office.

Still, except for Cynthia McKinney - who has shown herself to be quite progressive, what will electing a female US president do for women and girls, let alone the rest of us?.

After all, Barack Obama was never meant to and deliberately has done nothing towards the purpose of African American liberation.

BTW, Hillary Clinton, as a US Sen., signed off on two unjust wars and has never, so much as a peep, talked about the fact that no president, including her husband, has ever signed on to the International E.R.A. Treaty?.

Meanwhile, violence against women and girls remains the number one problem on this planet, while Male Supremacy, the original source of all human exploitation and oppression, is as strong as ever.

And NOW (National Organization of Women), to this very day, hasn't presented a single community program for even European-American children, much less. their non-European-American counterparts.

Liberation!
