Dear friends,
There is now a consensus that the fastest growing population in the US Prison/Industrial Complex is African American girls and young women.
There's always a lot of talk about young Black men needing mentoring. How about their female counterparts? After all, regarding females, young sisters in prisons are often there because of their relationships with knucklehead males. Therefore, both girls and young women will also benefit from having a wider range of caring adults in their lives, as well.
